Lattas Landscaping, pools, retaining walls and excavation in Shellharbour

Landscaping and excavation. Shellharbour, NSW.

30+ years Building backyards across Shellharbour and the Illawarra

What we build

Done right the first time

Top to bottom, we build the whole job: pools and decks, tiling and concreting, retaining walls, natural stone and paving, and the excavation that sits underneath all of it. A backyard like this only goes in once. Once the paving is down, the slope, the drainage and the footings are set for good, so they’re the parts we get right before anything is covered over. You’ll know exactly what we’re building from a written scope up front, and you’ll deal with one person from the first quote to the day we hand it back.

How it works

From quote to handover

01

Get a written scope

A real quote and a written scope before anything starts, so you know exactly what’s being built and what it costs.

02

Built to spec, not the minimum

Footings, drainage and levels are set to full engineering spec, not just enough to pass an inspection.

03

Site left clean, then a walkthrough

The driveway and footpath get swept at the end of every working day. When the job’s done, you walk it with us before we call it finished.

If the ground throws up a surprise, like a slope needing another course of block, you hear about it before it happens, not on the invoice.

Built to last, not just for the photos.

More than thirty years of building backyards across Shellharbour and the Illawarra comes down to a simple idea: the part you never see is the part that lasts. A new pool or a fresh stone wall will always look the part on handover day. Whether it holds up for the next ten years is another question, and that comes down to the footings, the drainage and the ground underneath. That’s why we build to the full engineering spec, not the minimum it takes to pass an inspection, and why the groundwork gets the same care as the finish on top.
